Letter to Senator Lugar about Card Check

If you have not written your Senators on Card Check, please do. If you want to use mine as an outline, go for it.

Dear Senator Lugar,

When Congress and the Senate come back from break there are three bills facing you of critical importance to the future of all Americans. Never before have such total game changing legislation come at the same time each with the potential of destroying the very fabric of America. The Card Check, the Cap and Trade Bill, and the Health Care Bill each are designed to remove our American liberties and replace them with a near Totalitarian State.

The Card Check Bill is completely un-American. There is no possible advantage for it to employees or for their employers. This is a pay back bill for Obama’s victory to the unions, especially the SEIU and ACORN. By voting for this bill it would be the same as if you personally were taking brass knuckles to someone forcing them to sign up for a union that they want nothing to do with. Voting for Card Check is tantamount to creating a thugacracy and inflicting terror and intimidation on America’s working families.

Senator, I ask not only for myself, my family, my children, but for every American that you vote against each of these bills. We are counting on you, and others who value our American Constitution to stop this assault on our freedoms and liberties.

Sincerely,
Jim Morgan
